After the bands triumphant return to their 'spiritual home' of the Wedgewood Rooms last night, I managed to get some comments out of the band. Post Show Here's what Ben from the band had to say about the show... "Cheers you to everyone who came down to our first HOMETOWN show in two years, We thank you sincerly from the bottom of our blackened souls for your support. We had a few technical issues and I personally got a rather annoyed (and I am slightly ashamed of that), but that didn't detract from the fact that we had some fun and enjoyed testing out our new equipment. Working with 'The Lost Orchestra' on the backing tracks has been amazing and after speaking to many people on the night and checking out post-show reviews, I believe the decision to incorporate some orchestral backing was a sublime idea. I'm looking forward to working with them again on the new record to really make the album something epic and special. We're are due to start recording the new album very soon and we hope to have it available sometime towards the end of the year. We're not going to rush it, We want it to sound amazing. We'll see you all real soon...On that you can count on." Recording The band are due to start recording pre-productions for the 'EVOLUTION: Creatio Ex Nihilio' starting in the next few weeks. Interviews Enochian Theory were interview by Paul Raven for 'The Dreaded Press'(www.rock-metal-music-reviews.com/) before the show. A transcription of the interview should be up very soon. Also, a spur of the moment chance to chat with veteran Portsmouth DJ Karl Lemon resulted in a quick 5 minute audio interview, which Karl hopes to put out on local radio station Express FM. Karl also hopes to get the band into the radio studio to do a few live songs. More news on this as and when we get it. E.T Webmaster |

Salutations one and all! Here's the latest news seeping down from the Pyres Of Mithrandire... New Album Title I can reveal that the debut full-length Enochian Theory album will be titled: EVOLUTION: Creatio Ex Nihilio The final track order and song listing is not confirmed but the band tell me that they have "7-10 songs of random progressive rock/metal". The album will be mixed and mastered by David Castillo from Sweden, who co-produced the last KATATONIA record 'The Great Cold Distance' on the Peaceville label. The band are happy to have been able to reach an accord with David for his services and will be handling the recording process themselves alongside band friend Josh Eaves at their home studios and at All Over The Shop Studios in Hampshire. They are currently entering the pre-production stage and Ben is now in charge of creating the extra layers of synths and orchestral parts that will complete this record. More news as it's released. Greetings fellow beings of existence. Here's what's been going on at the 'Pyres Of Mithrandire' in the recent weeks... Album Creation Process The 3 piece of ENOCHIAN THEORY have been holed up at their practice room creating songs for the (as yet untitled) new album, which will be available "when it's done..." Ben has been slaving away creating the songs at home and then bringing them to the room to work on. They are all very happy with how things are going and I can reveal the band now have SIX songs to go towards the new record. I can also reveal the titles for the songs, however...this is in no way an indication of the final album running order or even if certain songs will make the final cut. THE FIRE AROUND THE LOTUS APATHIA AT GREAT ODDS WITH... THE DIMENSIONLESS MONOLOGUE: pt.1: Tedium pt.2: The Dimensionless Monologue pt.3: T.D.M MOVEMENT WAVES OF ASCENSION All these songs are structured and are pretty much ready for pre-production. With recording due to start in July, with (hopefully) as final release date sometime in August/September. The band are very happy with how things are going and I can assure you that they have some 'musical' surprises in store for you all on what promises to be an explosive and epic 2nd record by the band. The band will producing the record themselves and are considering getting a top producer to do the final mix, This remains to be confirmed though. GUITARIST HUNT As the band continue to work as a 3 piece on the new record, they have been working with a new guitarist (for live purposes) as they prepare for the DVD filming show and will be announcing a final decision within the coming months as the the identity of the new member. DVD FILMING AT THE BANDS ONLY LIVE SHOW THIS YEAR! As mentioned before, the band will be filming their live DVD at the Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms on TUESDAY 24th JUNE 2008. You can purchase tickets for this immense event by ringing the venue box office on 02392 86 3911. Come down to support the band as they will be performing new songs and need your enthusiastic support! Stay metal... E.T WebMaster |

Salutations Children of Enochia. It's been a month of hard work for the trio of (pork) chaps in Enochian Theory, Let's evesdrop on them and see what's going on... NEW MATERIAL! The 3 piece have wrote 2 new songs to go towards the as yet untitled new album and I can reveal the titles for these two tracks are: 'The Fire Around The Lotus' and 'Tedium / TDM / The Dimensionless Monologue'. The latter being a 3 part 'song' thus far that spans over 10 minutes, but the band agree it works perfectly with it's various changing moods and song dynamics. The band are happy with the new 'movements' and agree that they show a marked improvement in the writing department with the songs being somewhat 'uptempo' from the previous E.P's material. The band are continuing to write "at a rate of knots" now and are aiming to have a new record ready to go come June/July. THE GUITARIST SEARCH CONTINUES... The band are still looking for a new guitarist to step up to the plate. The deadline is looming for applicants to submit their material but the band will not be rushed into getting someone into place. They feel that if the right person is not about come the deadline, then they are "happy to continue to write a 3 piece, get the record done and see what happens..." They feel that getting the record wrote and recorded is paramount, getting someone into fill the role is also important but not vital at this stage. So keep your ears and eyes open... Ben |

| 2008: A New Perspective | ||

2008 is just a few weeks old and with the cliffhanger left by the band at the end of 2007, we thought it best to let you all know what was going on with the band. The 3 remaining members haven't quit and are very much looking to the future. The band will be remaining as a 4 piece for the time being, once an additional guitarist has been brought in. Ben has moved from keyboards to playing guitar for the band, in order to expand the band's sound but will still be writing the synth and piano parts. The live performances of the material will be handled by a session player for the time being unless a suitable performer makes themselves known to the band. The core line-up have agreed that utilising Ben's guitar playing along with a genuine focus on exploring and explanding the band's sound with a new guitarist was the way forward. Enochian Theory have already begun writing new material and a new song with the title of 'The Fire Around The Lotus' has been submitted by Ben...Needless to say, it is coming along very well indeed as this is being written. 2008... It's game on...More news as it comes. Regards, ENOCHIAN THEORY |

| Are You Our New Guitarist? | ||

After the recent departure of our original guitarist... Portsmouth based band metal/progressive act, ENOCHIAN THEORY are looking for a new guitarist to complete the line-up. The new member will be joining at a great time as the band are now in a position to expand their sound and move beyond the previous limitations they had. The band set-up their own record label to release their debut record and also a PR company with which to promote not just their own interests, but seek out and present new talent to their growing list of contacts within the tabloid and music industry. Formed at the tail end of 2005, the band worked hard building songs and a direction. This led to a very successful year in 2007, with their self-funded release of their debut record entitled 'A Monument To The Death Of An Idea'. The record was released in August 07 and has sold consistently worldwide through CODE 7 distribution, the band's live shows and through the band's online ventures. This in turn led to the band touring on two separate occasions at the end of 2007 and with the new year upon us, the band are looking to complete touring commitments and have another full length release available by the end of 2008. The band want to expand on themes they have already explored as well as include musical avenues they have yet to tred and are looking for a talented guitarist to join the fold, with view to expanding the solid ground work already done over the last 3 years. The below info is what the band are looking for ideally but they are more than open to ideas and are willing to 'bend the rules' for the right person. If you feel you are that person, get in touch. Auditions are scheduled be held in March/April as the band are aiming to go back on tour in May/June. Essentials 20 - 30 years old Male Hold UK driving licence/Own transport Quality music performing equipment (Guitars/Amplification) An excellent knowledge of their own instrument (Minimum 5 years of playing) Previous live performance experience No criminal record as this will affect international visas. Desirables *Ability to do backing vocals *An interest in 'rock/metal/progressive' (Having an interest in all forms of music is a must) *Must have 100% dedication to the cause and be able to tour UK/Europe in the interim in support of the bands current record release, with view to traveling further afield once the band has released their 2nd record. (Scheduled for an end of 2008 release date) *Must be able to commit to having at least one/two evening practices a week plus an all day Saturday practice/music writing session. (This varies to more intense periods of practice during pre-tour/pre-recording times) The ENOCHIAN THEORY private practice space is located in Havant, Hampshire. (PO5 5AX) *Must be openly creative, as the band are currently writing material for their 2nd recorded release which will be distributed worldwide as per the current album. *Must simply enjoy playing music and want to join a band that has worked (and will continue to work) very hard to achieve it's goals. If the above sounds anything like you and you have checked out the band's material at: www.myspace.com/enochiantheoryband www.enochiantheory.co.uk Then email the record label for further information about audtions: Email: anomalousz_music@hotmail.co.uk Website: www.anomalouszmusicrecords.co.uk Tel: (+44) 02392 492916 (Leave message with full contact details) |

| IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT | ||
| 21 December 2007 at 15:59 | ||
|
It is with much regret that ENOCHIAN THEORY have to announce the immediate departure of guitarist and one of the four founder members of this band, Scott Ware. Although it's been a successful year in the band's ongoing musical and business evolution... It's not been an easy one with the growing financial burdens weighing heavily and strained personal relationships within the band coming to a head recently, as they all tried to continue in working towards the goals they had set themselves from day one and lay further support to the great foundations the four members had already worked damn hard to achieve over the last 3 years. It was not an easy decision for Scott and I'd like to say myself, Sam and Shaun want to thank him for his contribution to the great evolution of the band and sincerely wish him all the best in his future plans, in which Scott will continue to write material so keep an eye out for that and his potential new projects. The remaining members will be continuing the band and will announce their plans for the future of ENOCHIAN THEORY very soon. Ben (on behalf of Enochian Theory/Anomalousz Music Records) |

As the 2007 winds down, ENOCHIAN THEORY are concluding their activities for the year...and what a year it was for the band! Having released their album properly and made it available to purchase, released a single, recorded a video, played a fair few shows around the country, set up a record label, set up a PR company and much more! The band would like to thanks everyone who has come to a show, bought our wares, said a kind word or who tell their friends what a great band we are! ;-) Thanks to all of you for your support and patience. 2008 is gearing up to be spectacular. We hope to be off to Europe come August and we'll definitely be on tour again in the UK in March/April with PANIC CELL. See you chaps and chappetts in '08! Ben |

| A Long Overdue Update | ||
| 2 November 2007 at 14:11 | ||
|
The band have been busy with practices, playing shows and booking more tours for 2008. Apologies for not reporting in for a while my friends, but hopefully this little update will appease your need for info! The 'Theory In Practice' Tour (parts I and II) ----------------------------- We enjoyed our little jaunt with SPEED THEORY around the country and look forward to playing shows with them again at some stage. You can read my personal thoughts on the shows in the FORUM under the TOUR DIARIES section. (Bear in mind, those opinions are NOT the bands but merely my own thoughts) For the December shows, we've sadly had to cancel 4 of the shows on the 8th, 14th, 15th and 16th. This is all for personal and logistic reasons, but we hope to rearrange the shows once we speak to the promoters. We're looking forward to the other shows in the south of England and Wales. That's about it my friends, We're all busy living our lives and trying to do this band...It's hard sometimes but thanks to the people who come to the shows and contact us with their support, it keeps us going. So thanks to all of you for that support. Agent Ben signing off... Stay Rocking. |
